New Equity Millions Blog – Equity Millions Re-Launch

Thursday, September 18th, 2008

Site Seller’s favorite website selling program, Equity Millions, has updated their blog in anticipation of a re-launch of the system. Even though is was only launched a couple months ago, Brian decided it was time to make some changes, since the world of internet marketing moves so quickly. Basically, though this means that the entire 30 video course will be redone and expanded upon. This also means that you should expect to see an new review once the updates are completed. All in all, it just show how well the system is put together and what type of support you should expect once you become a member.

The Importance of Traffic to a Website Seller

Tuesday, September 16th, 2008

When it comes to websites, everyone knows that traffic=money. Now, you may be asking yourself, “why would someone who builds and sells websites be interested in traffic?” There’s a couple of answers to that question.

  1. Your customers, i.e. the people you’re selling websites to, care. They know that traffic=money, and they’re looking to make an investment.
  2. Just take a look at the Sitepoint Marketplace. Sites with proven revenue streams sell for lots of money. Through whatever means, they’ve figured out how to turn their traffic into money.

I’m not going to go into the ‘how’ of generating traffic or the best ways of monetizing traffic. There are hundreds of resources and products on both (including our favorite, the Equity Millions system), and will most likely be somewhat dependant on the target niche for the site.

Don’t get me worng, building turnkey websites can be a great way of getting your feet wet or for generating revenue for larger projects. As a professional, though, you should really be focusing your efforts on what your customers want, and they want traffic. Maximizing profits of your website sales of course means more money for you, with less effort. So even for someone who builds and sells websites, traffic=money.
